Rita Levi Montalcini


Several days ago Italian Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini, a respectable and well known neurologist , turned 100. This woman has lived such an inspiring and fulfilling life. Of Jewish decent, Montalcini's family was persecuted under Mussolini's rule, she was once quoted "I should thank Mussolini for having declared me to be of an inferior race. This led me to the joy of working, no longer, unfortunately, in university institutes but in a bedroom." Look her up, you'll like what you see...
